I was on a hunting lease in Bronte, TX the last two years and the wildlife was VERY sparse (I don't hunt I just photograph). Last weekend we completed the move to our new lease near Childress, TX (home of Russell Graves) and the first afternoon out I had six white tail doe scoot out in front of me.
I am excited for two reasons
1. There is wildlife on this land, White Tail, Mule Deer, Turkey, Hog, Quail, Dove, and Coyote just to name a few
2. I have talked to Russell about the area and hope to meet him some day when I am out there since he is my wildlife photog hero.
This one was taken right at dusk with a 70-200+1.4 tc on a 1DMKIII and panned while shooting.Wish I had my 100-400L but a friend was using it for baseball this weekend
