I went with my grandchildren to Bolivar Flats around noon today, we walked the beach collecting shells. I got to play with this Long-billed Curlew.   Then some shots from the ferry around 2:30PM.   Canon 50D with 300mm F4L IS --------------------------- Canon 50D, Canon 7D 300 f4L IS, 28-105 f3.5-4.5 II USM 500 F4L IS USM, EF1.4X Extender and other Canon stuf |

Nice shots! When I was there a couple weeks ago, there was a Black Bellied Plover with a bum wing and injury to his eye. Anyone see him? I know it's nature's way, but I do hope he survived. |
