Isn't he beautiful? This is my mother in law's kitty....well a fat kitty, but still very handsome Its so easy to capture a cats attention when there's a string around....

We don't have any cats around here. Pretty sure my dog would not get along with one very well ( I could be wrong) so I don't know about strings and handsome cats but I do think you got a very nice shot of your Mother-in-law's kitty.

I have much expereinec with cats and strings. I firmly believe that the best way to test a new lens is to spend an hour shooting an active cat then go to the monitor and check your composition, colour, and sharpness.

I f you like what you see, then most everything else is going to seem easier.
