Planning on going to SBNWR this Saturday (4/23). Is it an ok/good time to visit? Any preferred trails/locations? Thanks for the help.

The loop road around the lake is always a highlight of SBNWR. Its been a few weeks, but it had really started to slow down last time I was there, except for the mosquitoes - they were absolutely out of control...hopefully with it being dry lately, they won't be as bad.

Brazoria NWR, maybe 20 miles from San Bernard NWF, is a much better bet. regards~Bill
