Sparrows are cool
This is a discussion on Sparrows are cool within the Nature and Wildlife forums, part of the Showcase category; I know a lot of people don't like sparrows but they visit me all day....

It isn't sparrows in general that a lot of people don't care for but, rather, European House Sparrows (weaver finches). They have a nasty habit of hoarding feeders, raiding and taking over bluebird boxes, and wreaking havoc on Purple Martin nest houses (destroying eggs, killing the young, fighting, etc.). --------------------------- Everyone wants to be a rock star, but no one wants to learn the chords. |
