For the past 10+ years or so I have always gone out shooting on New Year's Day. By getting a few keepers at the very start of the new year, I figure it might bring me some luck. I'm out: rain or shine, cold or hot, and sick or not!

This year I did something a bit different... I was out, but not with the camera. I was armed with a plastic baggie and looked for something kinda unique. Here it is: Fall has taken its toll on these Sycamore Leaves..but they sure looked good grouped together.......on my flatbed scanner.. LOL! Yes, this is a flatbed scan of the leaves. Not a photograph in the true sense, but still an image created by something similar.

Very cool Michael. Love the colors on Maple leaves. Neat idea of scanning them instead of taking an actual picture.

Michael
Today I bought a flat bed scanner. Ideas are flowing now, thanks for the jump start.
