Critique: NC:

Made another run to San Luis Pass Sunday. The conditions were not as favorable as last week, but I did make a belated loop out to Dos Vacas Meurtas & Lafitte's Cove for first visits as well. Although the migrants had passed through, there are plenty of residents to keep you busy @ DVM. I can see how they would be perfect stops for trans-gulf visitors. Lafitte's was as dry as the Sahara, but very nicely laid out. Only one lonely Stilt in the minute remnant of the pond. The D7000 continues to impress!

Dos Vacas:

My first real attempt at Nighthawk flight shots...It ain't easy, is it?

There were a few furry, rather than feathered critters as well....

San Luis Pass: Saw two Frigate birds, but had to leave them for another day.

Some good images...I don't know how you got that nighthawk image...wow! They are small and swift! The bunny is adorable.

Excellent shots Bruce. That D7000 is doing well.
