Colorful Wood Ducks

A couple of these colorful fellas were hanging out at the Duck Pond in Trinity Park in Fort Worth this passed Monday. The light was slightly harsh, but I'm somewhat please with getting the shot.

You know it's amazing how much color the drake wood duck has. I've got one here at my home and have had people ask why it was painted like that and I tell them that's just the way it is with a drake wood duck. I don't think they belive me. Anyway, You were able to capture the color even with the slightly harsh light. Well done in my opinion.
