On my way home from my walk this evening, I noticed this Western Scrub-Jay in the brush. I has to crop this "a bit" and cloned some twigs/leaves, but I really like the light here.


Canon 5D, 300mm f/4L IS, 1.4x, HH
ISO 400, 1/250, f/5.6, Vivitar 2600-D for fill flash

Nice shot! Great warm colors too! ... I have a Western Scrub Jay that visits the bird feeder in my backyard every few days. When ever I try to get a picture of it, it takes off! I guess its camera shy!

Try that in a wheelchair! Every time I get close enough to get a GOOD photo, they fly away. Pretty birds though.
