Inquisitive Black-bellied Whistling Duck and a few Anhinga - 06-03-2011, 09:10 PM

Critique: NC:

The first character saw me taking a few shots and was trying to figure out what the heck I was. It did not have the Sibley's Guide to Gulf Coast Humans handy. Even when it turned its head it was keeping an eye on me.

The Anhinga were doing their own thing; sitting around basking in the sun and not chasing fish.

The first 3 were all shot on the Pilant side of 40 Acre Lake. The last one was sitting inside 40 Acre Lake, across from the west side of the trail. Lighting was pretty funky by the time I shot this one.

All very good Doug. Sure like the expression on #1 as well as the side lighting on the ducks head of the second one.

Thanks to all. A bad day at BBSP is better than a good day sitting at home. So a good day is even better.

Thanks Tim. Few and far between lately. I plan on rectifying that in the coming months.
