Fantastic shot. Super sharp around the eyes, and I think the lighting looks very natural. Beautiful! Hope you make it out to the next photo walk; you're "beginner level" work is amazing, and it'd be fun to see your perspective on downtown.

Nice photo, like the first poster suggested, a small contrast boost may make it pop out even more.
