Nice images, Saravanan. I'll be there in late Sept. Hope the wolves have left a few bull elk for me to photograph. It's definitely not what it use to be.

Great Job! Agree #2 is very nice. I went there in Feb to shoot wolves, but only saw them through the spotting scopes. :( ./jealous

Great series, I grew up in W. Montana and have shot in Yellowstone numerous times, I never get tired of being there.
I'm heading up on the 20th of this month for a couple weeks.

Michael, typically the park closes most of the roads on September 30th.
Still an awesome time to go and it's quiet with very little traffic.

The problem with Yellowstone is - once you go there once - you got yourself a habit. I am going back this week - will be there from sep 29 to 3rd oct. Anybody going to be there around this time?

Saravanan,
You will be here at the perfect time.
I've been here, Yellowstone, for the last 7 days and will head back home tomorrow.
The leaves should be prime with fall colors when you arrive.
I had to work at finding the areas rich in colors.

Thank you. Any wildlife sightings and locations for elk / wolf / grizzlies. Any luck?

The only wildlife I did not see was moose and wolf.
In previous years I've been able to see herd after herd of bison but this year I only saw one herd near Jackson Hole and scattered bison every so often. We did Yellowstone and the Tetons.
