The Dallas World Aquarium - 07-29-2011, 11:03 PM

Critique: NC:

On our way to Kansas City this summer, we stopped at the Dallas World Aquarium. We spent 2 hours and could have spent longer. A very cool place!

Love the bats. I tried to capture some at the Houston zoo, but I just don't have the low light capabilities. Very nice set. Think #1 is my favorite.

Thanks Audrey! I like #1 the best, too.

The bat shots I took were hit and miss. The place was crowded, but I did borrow a 135mm f1.8 Zeiss and took it in as my only lens.

That shot was at f1.8, ISO 640 and 1/15 sec handheld. Glad I don't have to shoot in the dark all of the time...haha

There is so much to see in one place, it was really amazing. I can't remember what type of monkey it is, but they were so tiny.
