One more round with the frog - 08-07-2011, 10:27 PM

Critique: CC:

Well maybe not a prince but today I brought my yoga mat out to the pond and REALLY got low. I also tried taking some shots without my tripod which was a big change but it allowed me to get an even lower angle. Thank goodness for the swivel screen on the 60D!

I wasn’t ever really able to get as close to the frogs as I would have liked but I think it actually worked out pretty well. The curled up leaf in this shot I think balances the composition a bit .

Critiques welcome

I like it. You're right about the balance. Without it, there'd be too much dead space for my liking.

Wow, excellent shot, Sandra. Nice job on getting the low angle. Great job.
