Tim, Patrick and Sandy...thanks for your feedback on the colors for the backgrounds in my setup...I'm doing some experimenting with paint combinations...hopefully I can reproduce some backgrounds that closely resemble some backgrounds that I've chosen from some photos...I'm also looking at expanding the size of my backgrounds to allow for more action shots...also with limited variety of birds that I have in my backyard, I'm also looking at making some of my props portable so that I can take them with me out in the field...I've already made good use of my portable perches using them down at Dos Vacas during the Spring Migration...will keep ya'll posted...

Ron

Still in limbo, pasted 1 yr here at corporate. Hoping and praying that after the fiscal year budgets (October) are decided on I will get to go home.
Oh well at least the paychecks are still coming, but this drive really S*&Ks.
I think ive been out to shoot a whole 6 or 7 times this summer, with the heat and chores to catchup on the weekends, there isnt enought time for much else.

Cool article Lewis...thanks for posting it...not much chance of catching a bobcat in my backyard setup...but there are a few stray alley cats that come snooping around my bird feeders...
