OK, Fellow Texan's Step Up to the Plate - 09-01-2011, 11:35 AM

Critique: NC:

I work with people that live in boring ugly places, like the Smokey Mountains and Oregon that constantly are saying that Texas is NOT one of the more photogenic places in the U.S.

Would my fellow photogs being willing to step up and post their favorite nature shot of Texas to this thread? (Ok, I admit we have to work a bit harder as we can't walk outside our front door and see 10 waterfalls, but can they see 10 rattlesnakes?

Seriously, this could be a great thread depicting the beauty within our state.

Thanks!

You're not likely to convince them of much of anything.. its what you're used to. We don't have the *kind* of beauty they are used to.. but we do have some to be had..

Was up in the PNW last week, and yes, they have a lot. But also talked to some locals who can't wait to get down here. Also they mentioned the fact that 1 good month out of the year leaves most of them a bit wanting....
