Thank you everyone for your comments. I had not seen this type of flower before either. I shot these images at the Dallas Arboretum. I thought that the flower was a type of poppy. When I goggled the flower I found that it is fairly common (Anemone) and available at some garden centers - I may have to see if I can get some for my backyard.
