Veterans Day Raptors - 11-12-2011, 03:41 PM

Critique: NC:

I took the day off and headed down to San Bernard NWS to find some raptors and then dropped down to Quintana to see if the ospreys were around. Found some owls, harriers, and hawks at SBNWR and a single osprey at Quintana. All in all, a nice day.

Thanks Bruce! I was very happy to find the osprey haning out by the dry ponds behind Bryan Beach. I'm afraid there is much to attract them this year.

You're getting great shots at Bolivar, but SBNWR would be a nice change of pace...

You need to run down to SBNWR Ron. They are almost as thick as the mosquitos down there! Seriously, I saw at least 6 different individuals on Friday morning.
