Just act like it was the water droplets that you were trying to capture. You have lots of shots of birds, but how many of water after the bird leaves? I have not done this as well as you have. Thanks for giving us a new perspective to think about. I really like it David.

I have a few of these type images too. This image works for me with the water drops and the feet just leaving the frame.

LOL, now that's cool!! Excellent timing-very difficult to get the drops in focus & still keep the feet in the frame-admit it, it takes perfect timing!
Seriously, David I commend you for recognizing a really neat shot that definitely tells a story!!!
I think you should title it "Bye Bye Birdie" and send in to a wild life photo contest!

I actually like this composition a lot David. I've had a lot sorta like this, but the clarity and the detail you picked up on this image is fantastic.
