Thanks everyone! I really enjoyed getting out looking for birds. I almost missed that coyote. I just finished shooting a red tailed hawk so while getting back in my truck in the corner of my eye I saw a clump of something moving. He had his back to me digging for something in the ground. He blended so well in the salt grass. I actually was able to spend a good amount of time with it.
Check this photo out...There is a hawk flying in the upper left corner. Didn't see it until I got home.

I like them all, I am jealous, you seem to be in the right place all the time...LOL
I may have to come down for a guided tour. It's obvious you pay a lot of attention to detail and I always enjoy looking at your pictures. So go take some more.

Funny you say that...I ran into one of my friends this weekend that was giving a tour for someone from Dallas after I showed her some of my pics of the coyote and hawks she told me I should be giving him the tour instead of her. It made me feel good when she told me that. I wouldn't mind doing something like that for a out of towner folks but they would probably want their money back dealing with the mosquitoes.

Billy, when are you coming back down here?

Sweet, Sandy. That TC-14E converter is terrific for flight shots, huh? :Woot:

LOL You noticed! Yeah, I really like it for hawk shooting. Much faster than the 1.7tc. :)

I have very few photos of a hawk facing me with eye contact. Appreciate it!
