Hi friends and fellow photogs!
Finally, I got free to go shooting for a couple of hours. Decided to head over to the Japanese Gardens, as it had been almost 20 years since I had been there.
Did something different with this trip...I took only my 17-35 for scenics and a 105 MF macro lens. I wanted to focus on isolation of subjects with wide angle and look for beauty in the small things.
I wish i could have used a tripod, but completely understand the policy of no tripods as the paths are narrow.
the bridge shot is more for context of the gardens, what a great place to shoot portraits, especially this time of year.

Paul, you have done good. Really like the last one. Leading walk way to the bridge and over to all the colors. Must be a pretty place. Good job.

Very nice indeed. This has inspired me to finally get back out there. I remember there is a fee of a few dollars to get in. I know there are fees to shoot a client out there. Were there any fees if you are just shooting for pleasure (without a tripod)?

I liked the use of selective color in the first one. : ) Or is it selective color?
