Critique: NC:

These were really blooming just before the freeze when it got down to 29 here.

The Rose of Sharon was shot with a Manual focus

Promura 28mm 2.8 lens @f5.6

The Trumpet bloom was shot with a Minolta MC Rokker 58mm 1.4 lens @f4

It's funny how some of our prettiest flowers are just now blooming. It took all year! And now I have tomatoes! Hmmm just wrong I say just wrong! :) And now we are looking at harsh freezes coming up. Which reminds me I better break out the Macro lens before it's all dead.
Thanks for sharing. I like how you exposed yours. Just right and not blown out.

Great capture, I wish I flowers to photograph all year long. I'm afraid our now freezing weather has taken that away, till spring now.
