Critique: NC:

I didn't find what I wanted on a recent outing. So, on the way home decided to make a drive thru at the Bay Area Park and glad I did.

Great shots, I especially like the 5th one. Was the first one a long exposure. The water looks kind of soft.

Nice stop over! I like the series - the heron pose is great.

Everything was looking so sweet and beautiful as I was scrolling down, enjoying these shots and then WHAM!!!!LOL : ) Itsa butt ugly bird but, still a very good shot. : )

Wow.....what's not to like about all of these...even the last one...great focus, details and colors...excellent work on the white with the feathers...great stop action of water droplets in #5...nice dark backgrounds and reflections...super job David...

Thanks Michael, the first one was a regular exposure. I wanted the bird to stick out more so I worked the shadows which soften the background.

Beautiful series David. You did a great job keeping the whites from blowing out. Number 5 is my favorite of the group.
