Blue-headed Vireo Gets Wheel Bug - 12-13-2011, 01:34 PM

Critique: CC:

This morning I found a Blue-headed Vireo in my back yard. He's eating a Wheel Bug.
It was overcast and very dark so I had to use a flash.

Very nice series! To bad about the white-eye at least it was pretty minimal.

Yeah, that's the only thing that kills me about flash. Plus I'm no good reconstructing eyes in PS.

But hey! I got one between flash so this one is for you!

Good shots!

These little guys used to visit a palm, a few feet from the kitchen window, until a certain relative moved in with with us and "cleaned up" the backyard, making all the palms look like something from a tourism ad.
