I believe the crops could be better if you have the room in the originals.You know, the rule of thirds.Great post!!!!!

Thanks Jim, Ron and Dennis for the kind comments.
Dennis, I guess a bit more of the 1/3rd rule could have been OK with the Curlew and Heron. The Plover came so close, I had a hard time focusing. This was the last shot before the lens couldnt focus anymore, LOL. Its amazing getting down low how they dont see you as a threat. They will walk almost within grabbing distance. LOL.

That is so cool that they do that.I wish I could get on the ground like that,but my back will not allow it.Maybe if I dug a trench as I inched along

Nice series of images - I particularly like the Long-billed Curlew - I am pretty sure that the Snowy Plover is actually a Sanderling.

The last time I went to Bolivar Flats I was sore for a couple of days! But the images make the pain all worth it.
