You did real good with these John. Like the colors and clarity. Also the DOF bringing more focus to the subject. Like the addition of the star fish with the first one. Good Job!

Thank you everyone - the cuttlefish is definitely an interesting subject. Getting the shot was a challenge with the low light (no flash allowed - would not have helped too much with the aquarium glass) and the crowds.

Considering the conditions, very nice job on these John...I've tried doing some photographing in aquariums with not much luck...

Nicely done John.

Do they still have a Great White in the deep ocean tank?

Alan, the great white shark that the Aquarium had in its big tank was released off the coast of Santa Barbara in October (they kept it for about two months). The tracking data the aquarium staff was receiving from the released shark indicated that it died shortly thereafter.

Very nice shots of the Cuttlefish John
Afriend of mine in Florida is raising 4 Cuttlefish in an aquarium. He bought some eggs locally and they have been doing fine.I got to see them when they were about three-eighths of an inch long.Once, they inked while I was there and my friend just sucked it out of the water with an eyedropper. They were so cool to watch.
