WB Cloudy Check---BBSP - 12-29-2011, 10:23 AM

Critique: NC:

Took my first trip since September and what a difference. It went from very quiet to a splashing quacking good time.
The bald eagles were busy grabbing coots for breakfast. They were too far really to get a decent shot for that. But just being there seeing it in person was exciting!
I wanted to find some Pintail ducks but found Gadwalls instead. Blue winged Teals were abundant as the Green wings were too.
Yes, Dennis it would have been nice to see some Wood Ducks there.
The Warblers were thick around Horseshoe. I also found a pair of Red Shouldered Hawks mating over there too!

The trip was a success even though I had no light. It forced me to really look at my settings and work at it. Not my best work but hey it's all for fun and enjoyment.

Also I would like to wish all my friends here on Pixtus/TPF a
Happy New Year!
May you get the best photos and experiences yet!

Sandy

Great stuff Sandy! Your duck shots are exceptional! I was out there this morning for the first time in months - it was great, although I didn't see the bald eagles...
