Foggy Landing - 01-07-2012, 11:28 PM

Critique: NC:

BBSP - It was a foggy morning and the landing was all over the place. Considering there was very little light coming through the dense fog they do a good job.

Good job for both of you. It kills me how you get the eye tack sharp on these ducks in flight. I've yet to do that.

I think they were using their ILS systems in the fog yesterday! Nice capture David. I'm glad to see you pulled something out of that soup!

Thanks Patrick, still sifting through them. I might add the hawk tried several times to take flight with its meal. Just too big of a catch. I got to look better because it looks like a big snake - Python head???

I'm anxious to see what you got! I know I probably gave up too soon, but the 500 was getting heavy after watching that guy for so long!

Thanks David. I'm still around. It was a tough summer with the drought, so I haven't shot much in the way of wildlife. I made a trip or two to some cool places, but mostly landscapes - no wildlife, until a recent trip to Bosque. I'll try to post a few. Seeing your postings as well as others here, I'm getting the itch to get out and visit BBSP.
