I don't see a whole lot of threads from this place, which is kind of surprising. We went right before the new year and sat in the very back of one of the trams. As discussed in the few threads I found - it's a very bumpy ride with stops only to feed the animals, not photograph them. With most animals out im the open, I imagine you never really know what you're going to get. I wasn't sure what to expect since I'd never been - so I had my 5D MK II, 24-105, and a 70-200 2.8. Next time i plan to bring the 7D to keep my new 70-200 2.8 IS on and the 5D with the 24-105 so I dont have to keep switching them. I also found it difficult to shoot on full manual as I was constantly turning around from shooting the animals eating inside the tram to the animals behind me as we drove off so the light kept changing.

Anyway - it's a great little place!

Nope! Only reference to weekend is for the pony rides!

Per website:

Hours:
March through August: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
August through February: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pony rides available anytime March - July.
Weekends only August - February.

Open All Year
Closed Mondays - August though February 1
Open all Holidays except Christmas & Easter Sunday
