Big Cats Houston Zoo - 01-19-2012, 11:36 AM

Critique: CC:

I went to the Zoo for the first time in about 15 years. The only thing that held me back was the fencing of the animals would get in the way of a nice picture...That's true but if your careful with your settings you can get by it. The new Safari Exhibit has plexiglass which makes it nice to get closer to the big cats. I'll be going back before it gets hot again.

I used my Nikon 70-200mm 2.8/ Nikon 1.4TC which was perfect reach.

I love them all. The twig behind the lioness is a little distracting though! It's a shame I can't kissy nose those kitties :D
