40 ac lake is a good place to start. Go to the BBSP web site and print their trails maps.

Here is an article I did for Photo. Net way back in 1998... http://photo.net/learn/nature/brazos It's old but still actuate as far as photo opportunities in each area. They will give you a map when you enter showing all the trails in the park or you can print one from this site. Brazos Bend State Park Volunteer Organization

A big reason BBSP is ranked in the top ten of state parks in the US, is that anywhere along the trails something beautiful and unexpected can show itself. Follow the advice forementioned, just keep an eye keen all the way around. It is a great park for wildlife.
