I was ready to head out to run some errands today when my wife said she wanted to go. But she needed 15 more minutes.

Not bad for 15 minutes of shooting...nice series David...is that second bird a Junco?

Second one is a Junco. Nice series! Especially for 15 minutes. It would take me two hours to get this. LOL

Really nice collection of terrific shots. Looks like a day's worth of effort to me. My favorite is the third image.

I like the male Cardinal, but I am wondering about the diagonal lines in the background - was this taken with an artificial background or was it something like dry grasses moving in the wind?

Scott, you are right about the background. It is grass. A small tree had fallen over so it was somewhat parallel with the ground.
