A Mixed Bag - 01-26-2012, 11:02 AM

Critique: CC:

I recieved an invite late last week to go down to a ranch in Eagle Pass to view their hunting operation. Without hesitation I accepted and at 5 AM sunday I was southbound on 35. When I arrived a t the ranch I through my bags in the lodge and loaded into the ranch truck to take a tour of the ranch and then pick a blind to sit in for the night. I ended up forgetting my tripod in my truck so most of my shots ended up with some blur. These are probably the best out of what I shot.

Critique is welcome.

This guy hung around for quite a while giving me the chance to shoot quite a bit but like I said earlier a number of shot came out blurry.

I caught this guy trying to sneak through the brush as we were driving through the ranch

These guys came in so fast I was only able to snap a few shots

Good captures, that first one is real pretty. Like the light and a good sharp face. Good job.

Thank you David and Leon!

I am re-working the 2nd and 3rd - the more I look at them the less I like the crop and see potential for a better picture.

Nice. I like the Audad shot. Don't see many shots of those.

Acutally that is a Corsican ram - this particular ranch has Audad I just never could find them.

I hope to make a trek to far west texas sometime this year (if I can get ranch access) to photograph Audad in the mountains.
