A Eagle Shot - Golfers - 01-26-2012, 05:40 PM

Critique: NC:

I am posting these just for fun. Some of you know the distance this is shot from - fence line to the other side of the pond and shooting through chain link fence. Low shutter and no light but what the heck. I don't think this guy ever knew about the eagle. He was just trying to get an eagle score. Note the golf ball in the air.

A eagle shot - golfers...

Darn, by the title I was hoping the eagle found a gun and shot a golfer or two! That would be really exciting!

Yeah, when I saw this one I had to smile. I used to play golf long ago but never had a eagle like this one.

Very nice David. I'm still trying to to get both on the course here in Huntsville. I've had them glide right over me. But when I take my camera on the course, the Eagles don't show. As far as the other eagles, I keep settling for the little birdies. But I'll get both one day.

That's pretty cool, David. I bet if he missed his shot he blamed the eagle for it!

You need to submit this to one of the golf magazines. A REAL eagle on a golf course.

David, we need to go golfing there with our REALLY long "irons" sometime... Has anyone else been shooting them out there lately? Several months ago I went and did see one in the air, but never had it go to the perch or the (old?) nest...

Cool comments! Bruce, last couple of times it's been sparce, drive by point and shoot. There would be some super shots on the golf course if they would only allow. I notice they seem most of the time to fly low southward before turning east to the nesting area. If I get one it's usually luck but I will continue trying.
