I don't know if this is the proper category, there are so many amazing "natural" images here...but felt like I should share a bit and not just lurk around.

Some recent puppies..

By the way.CC is always welcome.

I LOVE the one with the lab puppy and the hunting stuff in the background. Very creative.. are these your dogs or clients'?

Thanks guys. This was a play day just for me. Brenda Logan, who is also a member here, came over to help puppy wrangle. It was lots of fun, but I actually photographed them a little too young. They were just starting to walk, and slid all over the paper.

Very nice work! We don't see enough studio pet photography here.

Since you indicate that others may edit your images, I took the liberty of uploading a preferred crop of the third one. Of course, you probably have reason for the way you did it. Just a thought.

Thanks for the compliments John and I like that crop. It's all good :-) I have so much to learn and love to hear/see other's point of view.

Here are a couple more. The ridgeless ridgie is mine. We fostered med. to large dogs for about 8 years, until this one. She's a bit much to handle and we were afraid she would hurt someone/thing and be put down...so we kept her. I love her very much! And everyone knows that we have a "bad" dog at my house, no worries about kids breaking in to steal my gear.

Thanks John_A. She was 8 months old and never settled down. Very nervous with all the smells and new things at my studio. I try to get my clients to walk the dogs, let them play awhile and take the edge off before they bring them over, but this was during a lunch hour and there wasn't time.
