Here it is February and plants are already blooming. With all this warm weather we're having , it looks like we are going to have an early spring. I hope these buds don't freeze. it's forecast to get down to 37 here in Longview tonight.

Thanks Ron, even our Saucer Magnolia is on the blooming bandwagon. It blooms early spring but I don't think I've ever seen it bloom this early.

I love seeing flower photos and these are very nice, Don! I'm going out to Brazos Bend SP and see how the flowers are doing later this week if the wind will let me. With the rains we've had it might be a nice year for wildflowers down here...I'm hoping.

Our saucer magnolia isn't there yet, hopefully the cooler weather will stretch the blooms out a bit. Ours is the "Anne" version, very very deep purple. This pic is a few years old.
