Nice shots Mike!
Love the light on the first.
Fierce look there!
Really like the angles on the last owl shot.
Great composition.
Thanks for your participation in Raptor Wednesday!

Ha!
Excellent.
I just filled my feeders as well.
Still need to try the safflower recommended by Jim.
Try hooking a branch or two to the feeders to get that natural look if there are no staging trees around.

1 is in my ash, 2 are in a softwood tree on my back fenceline, should be plenty of staging areas

Very nice Jim!
All excellent as usual.
Love the caracara.
I've been trying to get an image like yours for a while now.
A few of yours I've never seen before.
Very colorful raptors.
Great capture on the shrike.
Well done, wonderful contribution.

Really nice shots so far. I wish I had more to offer. I've been hoping to get out for some decent hawk shots for a while now. Just hasn't worked out and when I do get out I can't get a decent shot even when I find one. Still working on it. Here's my humble contribution.

#1. 1/250 f2.8 ISO400 115mm
#2 1/320 f4.5 ISO400 200mm
#3 1/125 f2.8 ISO400 130mm
#4 1/50 f2.8 ISO400 170mm

Wow cfcRebel.
Great captures of the sharpie at Mayfield.
Where at Mayfield was it?
I don't remember shallow water like that except in the creek.
Beautiful bird, sweet captures.

Nice collection Roy!
Really like the first two and the last.
Great pose and focus on the first.
Love the pose on the last as well.
The third needs to practice a little personal hygiene.
Thanks for the exif!
Thanks for the contributions!

Well, about the only thing I have less of than raptors is songbirds... Here's my only raptor shot, a pair of Red-shouldered hawks.

1/100sec at f/5.6, ISO 100, 300/2.8 + 2x
