This week – Blue Any shots with a dominant blue feel to them. Exif if you have it. Thanks Daniel creating the topic poll for us. Here are my contributions: Little Blue Heron 1/500s f/9.0 at 500.0mm iso200  Eastern Bluebird 1/320s f/5.6 at 500.0mm iso200  Scrub Jay 1/100s f/5.0 at 500.0mm iso200  Blue Jay 1/200s f/5.6 at 400.0mm iso400  Belted Kingfisher 1/250s f/5.0 at 500.0mm iso100  Yellowstone Lake and fires  Thermal feature Ystone  So if you have any Blue shots let's see them. Great shots from everyone so far! Tim S - I really love your kingfisher shot the best - Everything about that shot is perfect - A beautiful pose, perfect composition, great bokeh, sharp bright...perfect! Capt. Ray - While the bird and sea lion shots are a hoot  , I really love the boats. I wish I was on one of them an on the water...right now!Tim - Beautiful bluebonnet photo and so appropriate for a Texas photoforum Laurie - Love the bluebird and how you were able to use DOF to get a great background but the bird and perch is sharp and clear. But that parrot shot (#5) is just outstanding. The composition is great, the sharpness and background are wonderful, but the colors are just incredible. Here are a few of mine... This one was from the ferry on the way to High Island... Canon 20D, 400mm lens, f5.6, 1/1600 SS, ISO 200, Av  Dawn at the boat launch at Caddo Lake State Park... Canon 20D, Kit (17-85) lens at 24mm, f20, 3.2 sec, ISO 100  A beach cut on Achille Island in Ireland last October... Canon 20D, Kit (17-85) lens at 17 mm, f22, 0.3 sec, ISO 100  Sunset - just stepped out of the deer blind after shooting photos of deer and quickly changed lenses for this shot... Canon dRebel, Kit (18-55) lens, f10, 1/500, ISO 100  Patti |
