My day trip to Granbury-Bluebonnets Found! - 03-28-2007, 11:45 PM

Heres is a few I shot in Acton, just east of Granbury. I had to ride out there to treat a roughnecks oil rig trailer for roaches, nasty! It was nice to see something beautiful after leaving that pig pen! Shot in A mode fairly high shutter to stop windy flowers! My File info in PS only shows A-settings, i don't know why! I like the one with the weird little building. It reminds me of a fairly tale...like maybe a troll lives there. Did you knock on the door? :-)
Nice work. I like Bluebonnets and barns.

I love #3. You found some very cool buildings! I also like the last one but would like it better without the telephone/power pole. But I'm sure the people that live down that street are somewhat attached to their phones and power. What can you do?

I looked at the file info with Opanda IExif 2.26 and it shows more than just the aperture.

For example, in the first shot, the info is:
Aperture = f9
Shutter speed = 1/200th
ISO = 100
focal length = 70mm
Metering Mode = Pattern

However, it also says the flash was fired. Hmmm...???

Patti

Thanks Pattie! I dont know why, but when I go to file/data it only shows me what arp I used. I don't have any other EXIF software, is there any plugins for that!

Google search for "Opanda IExif". It's a free download. After you install it, when you right-click on a photo it will display all of the exif info if it is still embedded in the file.

Mind sharing where in Acton this is? I'll be heading down that way this weekend.

No way! You have to find it yourself like CPT Tom, LOL! Its just east of Granbury , just before you get into town you go east on such in such Rd , (don't remember) Just off of 377! It goes through the small town of Acton, go about 1 to 2 miles and look for Gee rd and turn right, go past oil rig on left and its straight down on the right about 1 mile down on Gee rd. There were some other nice hillsides and field down there. Ask Cpt, Tom he should be able to help also! Have fun!

Thanks so much! If I wasn't navigation challenged, I would have already found it. I was actually in Granbury weekend before last and went thru Acton.
