Meet Belle (warning cute kitten images)

I've posted images of our new bengal kitten before she arrived, but now that she's here I thought I'd post an update.

Here she is soon after arrival. Under the bed and a little timid. Understandable after an airplane and car trip.



After a couple of weeks, Belle and the beast (Hobie) are best of friends:

The big boy came from one of the premier breeders of Bengals, Gogees Cattery. Gene is one of the two breeders who originated the line. She even wrote 'the book' on them.

Belle's father came from the Gogees, but the mother is from Legacie Bengals. Jill Orman crosses her Silvers with Gene's brown spots which is why her color is a little lighter.

Both breeders are excellent to work with. Be prepared for a little sticker shock, but the animals are bred selectively and in a home environment. Definitely not a kitty mill.
