I ventured to Mercer Arboretum to do a bit of flower photography. After the rained stopped I found this colorful lily with a stowaway. Thanks for looking!

Sony Alph 100, Minolta 200mm Macro Lens, Gitzo 1325 Tripod, (still find myself ready to list the film type...)

OMGosh. Terese, that's just beautiful. Never thought I'd say that about an ordinary old grasshopper. You are a master at composition!

Wonderful composition, lighting and exposure. But most of all this picture has that other-worldly feeling to it. That feeling that sets it above and apart from most pictures. Good job and thanks for posting it.

Oh, and as for the film type. How about Sony Dig I-Tal.

Sorry Therese, I meant to post on this earlier. This is a special shot with all the blending colors and then young grasshopper is found caught in the middle of all of it. I love it!
