These are superior photos and I ditto Abels comments. I think part of the appeal for everyone, well almost everyone  , is that these are in a setting few of us will ever experience. It does my heart good to see grass and soil beneath the feet of these animals, rather than concrete; and sky above them, rather than fencing. These shots have a sense of place. The Sparring Elephants is my favorite, I have seen similar pictures of the other shots but I have never seen a picture like the Sparring Elephants. It's just a beautiful shot to me, leaves me wondering if they ever got untangled, only Andy knows for sure...:) |
