Went to the zoo yesterday in the 101F heat...and found most of the animals in the shade or in their buildings. I did manage to catch a few that I liked...thought I'd share. If you haven't had the chance to get to this zoo I HIGHLY recommend it...the photo ops are bountiful and rarely do you get a shot that "looks" like it was taken in a zoo.      I also got my first dragonfly shot at the Tyler Rose Gardens... haven't processed the rose pictures but this little guy I just had to see how he looked!!  [/list] |

Ok your Zoo pics have blown my recent zoo pics away. You are capturing much more emotion and activity than I am. Outstanding croc shot Laurie. You cheated perfectly :D FWIW, you can get some great indoor shots using flash thru glass. Give it a try, just shoot at an angle to the glass and you'll be surprised just how well it works. I also especially enjoyed the giraffe shots. Excellent shots, I especially love the elephant shots. I was waiting to go to the zoo until it cools down after summer so the animals will be a little more active, now you're making me rethink that idea entirely. |
