Late Night Guest

Because we put out cat food for the semi-feral cats in our backyard, we often get other visitors, looking for a handout.

This little guy shows up regularly; I think he was actually born under our deck and still lives there. :)

BTW: If the color appears unbalanced or the shot looks soft, that's because the light was strictly Mercury Vapor (300D Auto WB tried!), and my front filter was a cheap piece of storm door glass from Home Depot. Still altogether, the 50mm 1.8 II lens did a good job.

Great shot for those conditions. It's kinda nice to see a live opossum as opposed to the only way I have ever seen them in person :( I won't elaborate, you know what I mean!
