New photograper looking for some feedback. Recently bought my first L-Series lens and here are a few pictures.

Over all a nice series of nature shots, I like the selective focus on the first two but wish the flower in the second photo stood out more on it's own. It seems to get lost a bit in the one behind it.

You have bluebonnets blooming at this time of year?? WOW!

I agree with Laurie that the evening primose in focus in the second is not standing out against the background and so it gets lost to viewer.

I like the third one because of the shapes and lines in the picture. I misght have tweaked the colors a little bit.

Thanks for the feedback. I have not done any post processing on the images yet. The second picture was taken mid-day so that did not help as well.

The pictures were taken with my Canon 5D with 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM lens. If I recall correctly on aperature setting and set to f2.8.
