Tree branches, leaves - abstract

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I tend to shy away from OOF photography and abstract shapes/colors without a defined foreground subject. Photography feels to me to be an art about presenting something tangible in realistic, or plausible, or fantastic ways. But I always feel like a photograph needs to be a picture of something.

So here I am posting a break from that to push my boundaries, but I can't tell if it 'works.' What do you think?
