Shorebird Workshop Images - 10-14-2007, 09:03 PM

Still basking in the afterglow of an outstanding weekend in Port O'Connor at a Shorebird Workshop given by O.C. Garza. Workshop was great, participants were awesome folks, and I'm thrilled as can be with the images. Have only been home for a couple of hours and I'm still playing with images, but here's a quick set of 4. Some significant crops in the set, but wow am I happy. C&C's welcome and appreciated.

Thanks -j

Very nice shots Jim. Looks like you had a good time at the workshop. Gotta love those reddish egrets. Good work.

Nice shots!-It is hard for me to imagine anything more satisfying than shooting(with a camera) wildlife. It absolutely makes me realize that everyday is a gift and we better enjoy it!!

Thank you all. I had an incredible time. My stock line when things don't go well (stolen likely from a hunter) is that a bad day shooting pictures is better than a good day doing just about anything else. But it may have easily been one of the funnest days I've had shooting in months. Awesome subject matter available and a set of great folks.

And the reddish egret is quite the creature. Hadn't seen one in the wild before the workshop. Awful efficent fish catchers and nice enough to stick around for a few images.

Warm regards -j
