Recent Zoo visit - 01-08-2008, 09:31 PM


I went to the Dallas Zoo this weekend to help out a friend with some shots she was trying to get. Here are a few I was able to get.

Male Madril - Cropped
ISO 500 1/160 at f/8


Female Madril
ISO 500, 1/160 at f/8


Male Madrill
ISO 800, 1/300 at f/8


Meerkat
ISO 500, 1/60 at f/8


ISO 250, 1/250 at f5.6

Those are great close-ups! My favorite is the female mandrill. She's looking right at you -- those eyes are dead on!

These are wonderful Laurie! I’ve got to make a trip to the Zoo this year. Hope I can get some as nice as these here in Houston with my 80-200.
