#2 & #4... are the best IMO. I would crop the last one just a hair from the left edge.

I might crop some of the dead space off 1&3, but otherwise they are all good shots.

The last one is intriguing. It appears to be a Baird's Sandpiper which is not a species one expects to see in Rockwall, even during migration. They are more of a western species.

Thanks for the input. I agree with the cropping hints especially on #1. #3 is close to a 100% crop as it is so I may not have much left to work with.

Not sure on the sandpiper ID. There were 6-8 in the flock that I was photographing. I'll take a closer look at some other pics and see if I can see something that will help with ID. My impression is that most of the ones I have seen in Rockwall are the Least Sandpiper, but I am not an expert birder.

Very nice series, I always find it difficult to ID the Sandpipers but I love to see them. I would also agree on the cropping recommendations.
