From the backyard this evening. I had to crawl around on my belly for the next to the last shot I'm glad it's been dry otherwise the fireants would have given me a "chewin"...

Yep. All but the last shot are of the same rabbit. The one with the nibbled on ears has been around here for a long time. I wouldn't call them tame... but I would say that they are less cautious than they were when I first started "shooting" them.

Thanks Laurie... nope... I circled around to the back side of a pretty good sized brush pile that the rabbit lives in, belly crawled to the edge of it, and waited for it to come to me. He/She was pretty close. I was using a 300mm lens and the crop is 8x10 using the full height of the frame. The setting sun was at my back so that gave me a nice "main light"

People always ask me when I'm going to burn or haul off my two brush piles I can't make myself get rid of them. It would be like setting an apartment fire

I though I’d seen that rabbit before… them beat-up ears give it away! I like #2 for the smile it gave me and #6 because it’s a fantastic rabbit photo!
